It’s one thing to have a lawn mower and talk about all the amazing abilities, its power, how it slices, its dices, mulches, trims, and even fertilizes…ok maybe not that, but the rubber meets the road when you are asked to put that power and ability into action. All of a sudden the excuses come out of the woodwork…”um, yeah, I sure would like to come and illustrate and impress you with the amazing ability and power of this machine but I can’t I have this thing with a friend at that place, yeah I just can’t make it.

Having ability but not the willingness to use that ability is nothing more than a spectacle at a museum.

Jesus was chilling in a certain city one day and a man who was full of leprosy saw Jesus in Luke 5:12-13. The man came and fell at Jesus feet and begged Him, saying, “Lord, IF you are willing, You CAN make me clean” This man knew that Jesus was able, but he was not sure if Jesus was willing. Notice that he came and begged for Jesus to be willing. Let me encourage you, we don’t have to beg Jesus for healing or His willingness to act, we know by His Word which is His will that He is able and has proved His willingness by going to the cross to take our punishment for sin and MAKEing us whole!

Jesus is so awesome, in vs 13 it says, “Then He (Jesus) put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing be cleansed.” Immediately the leprosy left him. Man, go ahead and shout that gets me fired up…Glory to God!

Some nerd stuff, the word “willing” here is the Greek word, thelo, which means desire, active volition. It was then and is now Jesus’ desire and active decision and chose to heal you. He is able and most of all willing to use His ability and power, all of which was given to us 2000 years ago. Believe, receive and walk in your IMMEDIATE healing today!
