Dear Partner,
I want to personally wish you a very Happy New Year! We have so much to look forward to because we live in one of the most important times in human history. Scripture is being fulfilled almost daily, and God has chosen us to be His representatives on earth right before the church is taken away and Christ returns! It truly is an exciting time.
When I asked God about 2025, I heard a very simple but strong statement: “Get It done!” I knew exactly what was being said. I pray this statement holds the same weight for you as God’s vision in your heart is revealed. I believe time is short, and our lives have urgent assignments.
God never asks or orders without also providing an ample supply of what is required to fulfill the command. By faith, absolute adherence, and dependency on Him, we take possession and walk in the fullness of Who He is to accomplish the assignment. I want to look at what God gave me that makes “Get It Done” a possibility and a reality. Remember, His yoke is easy, and His burden is light. If you feel overwhelmed or burdened by what’s in your heart or what you sense God saying, then you require a reset, a calibration of your spirit, a focus and position change that destroys yokes and removes burdens.
In this letter I have stated three points for this new year that are provided in and through Christ so that you walk in abundant joy, peace, and confident assurance despite the natural and demonic forces that try to bring opposition and oppression.
2025 is a year of multiplied and compound grace. If we are to “Get It Done,” it will be through the unearned and unmerited favor of God, which surrounds us like a shield because it is His finished work supporting us and not our self-effort. Understanding what Christ accomplished does not produce complacent and casual Christians but radical, excited believers who are energized by the resurrection, life, and power of Christ! I have provided below ten benefits of the favor of God. By His grace, His favor, we will get it done.
2025 is a year of the Spirit. Zachariah 4:6-7 “So he answered and said to me: ‘This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord of hosts.’ Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone with shouts of ‘Grace, grace to it…!’”
We will get it done by the breath of God—the Word of God, which contains God’s very breath and life! All scripture is God-breathed, and given by His inspiration. (2 Timothy 3:16 (AMPC))
In John 6:63 (NKJV), Jesus said, “The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” Daily intake of God’s word and communion with the Holy Spirit solidify our identity and ability.
I am compelled to quote Romans 8:11 (NLT), “The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, He will give life to your mortal bodies by this SAME Spirit living within you.” Not a duplicate or imitation, but the same Spirit. The Spirit of God has been given as our comforter, counselor, helper, intercessor, advocate, strengthener, and standby. He is ever ready and willing to distribute His gifts that bring us to the full awareness of God’s will and plan. It has never been easier to “Get It Done” than it is right now. No excuses. There must be a focus upon and expectation for the Spirit of God in our lives. Yes, Jesus died on the cross to provide forgiveness. This was the necessary step to produce the ultimate desire, which is to fill you with His Spirit and to raise you back to a place of glory and honor. When we breathe in the Word, the breath of life, through daily reading and meditation, we give the Spirit priority to lead us and direct us.
2025 marks a significant year for obedience. Obedience must come from revelation, not obligation. Obedience is the decision and choice to line up your free will with God’s already accomplished will. Paul said in Acts 26:19, “Therefore, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision…” Paul’s revelation of Jesus (Galatians 1:12) is what motivated his obedience. 1 Peter 1:13-14 needs to be mentioned, it says, “Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts…”
God wants His will done, but He wants it done from a heart of humility. If I first receive God’s love for me and in me by His Spirit, then obedience becomes an effortless response to His accomplished will for my life. Obedience is in direct correlation to the knowledge of God’s love. Consuming God’s love results in a willing heart to accomplish God’s will and purpose.
In short, “God works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.” (Philippians 2:13). Oral Robert said it this way, “Find the will of God, confer not with flesh and blood, and get the job done at any cost!”
