“The Fix” – Part 1

Happy New Year! I pray that you have set your expectations high and are ready for all the good the Lord has in store for you this year! My heart is full of what the Lord has been speaking to me, and I am excited to share it with you and for us to walk in the fullness of all the Lord has set aside for us in this season.

Before I begin, I want to review what the Lord has spoken over the last few years. I am pleasantly amazed at all God has said to His people. I want you to see the encouragement and progression of possession. God continues to give us the image to set our faith on as we accomplish the mission before Christ’s return.

  • 2020 – A year of Exponential Growth, Fulfillment in words spoken, so be expectant. (God also said, “Everything is about to change, hold on.”)
  • 2021 – A year of generous reward and full of God’s love. Fullness of time. Light vs Dark, the church must arise and shine.
  • 2022 – A year of the new! It will hold great manifestations of healing and overflow with the miraculous and supernatural. Learning to walk in abundant fullness.
  • 2023 – A year of believing. God encouraged His church to wake up, stay alert and steady, and hold fast to all they believe.
  • 2024 – A year of kicking in the door! Taking by force all God has promised despite opposition.
  • 2025 – A year to Get It Done! Accomplishing the assignment by grace, the Spirit, and acts of obedience.

There is a sense of an end and the command to stay focused and finish what has been placed in our hearts. Obviously, this is different for each of us and our God-given purpose, but as the body of Christ, we are to do His bidding by faith, walk in love, and remain full of and aware of the Spirit.

Back in October 2025, I asked the Lord what His thoughts were concerning 2026. Later, I was doing chores at home when the Lord said to me, “2026 is a year of the fix!” Later, in January, I received a letter from a well-known minister that I admire and follow, who said, “2026 is the year of the BIG fix!” This excited my heart and confirmed what the Lord had been showing me. Although the message from that minister had a different emphasis, I still believe that the Lord is telling His people to lay hold of the promises given, to get into position, and to finish the task assigned.

The message the Lord has given me to share with the body of Christ is “Fullness”.

This message of “Fullness” has taken only 14 years to realize, but when I think of the very first verse the Lord gave me when calling me into Martin Ministries International, it supports this idea. Isaiah 50:4-5, “The Lord God has given Me the tongue of the learned (or instructed), that I should know how to speak a word in season to him who is weary. He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear to hear as the learned. The Lord God has opened My ear; and I was not rebellious nor did I turn away.” The importance of intimacy with God’s word and His Spirit through prayer is where God speaks and gives a “word in season” to His people.

The word, no matter the topic, brings the understanding that whatever situation we may face, we have been given a full supply in Christ. This is where Impart, Establish, and Encourage come into play, as believers are taught the realities of Christ. We Awake, Restore, and Activate believers to this fullness as we break the mindset of religion that denies rights and privileges.

God has always sent messengers ahead to prepare the way. Whether it was John the Baptist, His disciples, or His church, we have been called as imperial heralds to prepare for His return.

Here is the verse that the Lord gave me for 2026. Isaiah 40:1-5 (Although I will reference the whole chapter as it gives insight into our time and season and the way we should cooperate with the Lord.) “Comfort, yes, comfort My people!” Says your God. “Speak comfort to Jerusalem, and cry out to her, That her warfare is ended, That her iniquity is pardoned; For she has received from the Lord’s hand double for all her sins.”The voice of one crying in the wilderness: “Prepare the way of the Lord; Make straight in the desert A highway for our God. Every valley shall be exalted And every mountain and hill brought low; The crooked places shall be made straight And the rough places smooth; The glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

The book of Isaiah is sometimes called “a miniature Bible.” The first 39 chapters (like the 39 Old Testament books) focus on judgment and sin, while the last 27 chapters (like the 27 New Testament books) focus on redemption, salvation, and the coming Messiah. Isaiah 40 begins this prophetic New Testament message to God’s people, in exile, worn down, displaced, and discouraged, but now made aware of God’s plan of comfort, restoration, hope, and His glory! Historically, it speaks to Israel after the Babylonian exile, announcing that their hard service is ending and God is bringing them home.

I will elaborate on this in the coming months, but 2026 will be a year of the fix. Where things have been broken, delayed, and forgotten, God is renewing and giving double blessings to His people.

  • “Comfort My people…” – God has come alongside, joined the journey. His strengthening care.
  • “A voice of one crying… Prepare the way of the Lord.” – Determined focus of preparation and given position. Shaking off the distractions of cultural opinion, political agendas, and church failures, finish strong, Jesus is coming quickly!
  • “Valley shall be exalted…” – oppression, weariness, and discouragement, exchanged for freedom, rest, strength, and boldness
  • “Every mountain and hill brought low…” – pride, manipulation, and resistance exchanged for grace, guidance, and endurance.
  • “Crooked places shall be made straight…” – confusion, distortion, and lies, exchanged for revelation, counsel, and truth.
  • “Rough places smooth;” – relational friction, disappointment, delays, and trauma. exchanged for restoration, fulfillment, and healing.
  • “The glory of the Lord shall be revealed…” – The manifestation of God’s presence, with favor, fullness of joy, and resurrection power.

Isaiah 40 is a Spirit-breathed word of comfort and renewal that calls God’s people to repent of self-reliance and to trust wholly in Him as we behold His glory and enter a new season with confident reassurance and persistent hope. You must read Isaiah 40, considering Christ and the time we are in; it offers a sturdy framework for beginning 2026 with God-centered certainty that is void of any trepidation or reservation, as audacious faith that says, “If He said it, He will do it. If He spoke, He will bring it to pass!”
