“Strength Test”

Need some extra oomph to get you through? Wondering, “Where do you find the strength to do life and keep the devil at bay? Great question, right? Well, to many times we find ourselves trying to obtain victories through natural abilities instead of placing ourselves under the mighty hand of God. Religion has told us that God may or may not come through so get out there and make it happen for yourself. The truth of the matter is God always comes through because the victory has already been won and given.

A verse that has always captured my attention is Proverbs 24:10 which reads, “If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small”. Some may read this and get a puzzled look on their face and say, “Well, you can’t win them all!” Yet the truth of the matter is, YES you can!

If you fall back a few verses and read Proverbs 24:5-6 you find out that wisdom and knowledge causes one to be strong and full of strength. Wisdom was given in Jesus and knowledge is freely delivered to us by the Holy Spirit (1 Cor 2:10). Paul even prays in Colossians that we would increase in the knowledge of God STRENGTHENED with might. When our strength comes from waiting on God (Isa 40:31) and trusting Him in all things we will never faint in the day of adversity or find ourselves lacking the victory. The only way that one can faint is to be on his own wisdom and knowledge concerning the situation because Godly wisdom and knowledge makes one strong and full of strength.

1 Corinthians 15:57 But Thanks be unto God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

There’s no such thing as a weak or defeated Christian. We don’t faint in battle because we’re not there alone. We are strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Don’t find yourself weary tap into the strength that comes from trusting in the Lord and positioning yourself under His ability and mighty power.

YOU CAN DO IT!!
