When King Jehoshaphat turned 35 he was made King of Judah, the Bible tells us that he did what was right in the sight of God, he feared the Lord and returned the heart of his people to the One true God.
In this time as King, three nations came against Jehoshaphat and camped against Judah to attack and destroy it. King Jehoshaphat turning to the Lord and made two amazing confessions; one “we have no power against these armies” and two “we don’t know what to do”. In many cases we have made these exact comments to friends and family, Oh but thanks be unto God who ALWAYS leads us in triumph in Christ. We have the mind of Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit is in us. I have always said, “don’t run from God in trouble, run to God!”
Turning to the Lord King Jehoshaphat was instructed to send the worshipers out in front singing and declaring, “Praise the Lord, For His mercy endures forever”, as they did the bible tells us that confusion broke out in the enemies camp and they self destructed. When life go’s down, hands go up! Your victory over any lie of the enemy is one shout away from victory.
The same valley that was planned to be the valley of destruction for Judah in 2 Chronicles 20:25-26 was latter named “the Valley of Blessing”. As R.W.Schambach use to say, “Shout the shout that leaves not doubt” and whatch the valley of your demise turn to the valley of your rise!! God is a good God and He is on your side!!
